Lawmakers will convene for the first time in 2016 on Jan. 6, the day Gov. Andrew Cuomo is scheduled to deliver his annual State of the State address, nystateofpolitcs reported. 

The calendar indicates the legislature will put in two four-day workweeks during March, the same month the Legislature's budget is due, according to nystateofpolitics.
